After having my second child in September 2005, I made the decision that I would like to try if possible work from home. Like all new parents we received many new baby gifts one in particular was a pair of leather baby shoes for my son Josh and this got me thinking…….

Wouldn't it be great if I could design and make some shoes that were of the same quality as the leading brands but a lot more affordable for parents, this is how Shimmy Shoes was created!
